On\nMarch 10, 2021, nearly 40 people from 19 communities and eight First Nations\norganizations came together virtually for the most recent regional meeting on\nthe Quebec First Nations health and social services governance process. This\nmeeting was an opportunity to transmit to the participants a wealth of relevant\nknowledge and reflections that could be reinvested in the development of the\nnew health and social services governance model.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Topics\naddressed during the meeting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The\nmeeting was structured around three presentations in order to highlight the lessons\nlearned and success factors related to experiences of self-determination:<\/p>\n\n\n\n These\nthree presentations can be viewed by\nclicking here<\/a> until April 19,\n2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Next\nsteps<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The\nnext regional meetings will be shorter than usual and specific topics will be\ntargeted for each one. These meetings will make it possible to continue the co-development\nof the new model and maintain the mobilization of the communities and\norganizations, which is essential to the success of the process. In addition,\nthe virtual tour of the communities has begun, and several meetings will be\ntaking place over the next year.
